Show Features for 2009 include the following, Show off your Christmas Spirit and get cash and prizes! Random Acts of Christmas returns this year to the delight of show-goers! The staff of the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show will have their eyes peeled, looking for show visitors dressed in the spirit of the holiday season and/or acting in the Spirit of Christmas! We will be giving away Merry Money to spend at the show (that’s FREE money…$3000 in all!), gifts from our favorite exhibitors and other fun items for the young and young at heart! So make sure we catch you in the act! Santa's Schedule Oh yes, the jolly man of winter himself will be listening to the Christmas wishes of those young and young of heart, once again, at this years show…here are his scheduled appearances:

Sunday 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, 4pm-5pm Bridget Sloan at the CGHS Sunday, Nov. 15 from 1-3p! Meet current world champion gymnast and Indiana native, Bridget Sloan on Sunday, November 15th from 1p-3p. Bridget, at age 17, has become a member of the U.S.A Olympic team, U.S.A national champion, and recently became world champion in her gymnastics career. This Indiana Hoosier has made her dreams a reality with dedication and hard work. Bridget will be on-site signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Bridget Info Page Tony & Rockin' Rory from America's Got Talent at the CGHS, Nov. 11 - 13th ! Tony Hoard & Rockin’ Rory from “America’s Got Talent” and an Indiana Native will do 4 performances per day on Wed, Thur, & Fri Nov 11-13th. Performance will be at 11a, 2p, 5p, & 7p each day. Tony, Rory, and special canine guest Elektra Blu will perform acrobatic routines and sign autographs while on-site. Tony and Rory are three-time world champions and Elektra Blu, the newest member, are ready to entertain us all with a memorable performance. Tony & Rory Info Page. Marcus will serve as our master of ceremonies…he will also be entertaining the audience between acts, throughout the show floor and perform, on stage, 3 times each day! Pet adoptions to loving homes offered daily Adoption Central (Store #16) offers pet adoptions to loving homes daily!! An array of furry, friendly adoptable pets looking for their special homes for the holidays! Other gift items for your pets will be available too! This fun loving area will feature the following groups and more! Indianapolis Animal Care & Control Rescue Farm Southside Animal Shelter A Critter’s Chance Exotic Animal Rescue Kentuckiana Pug Rescue Christmas Corner The home of special show features and a festive atmosphere! Bridget Sloan, Tony & Rory, authors doing book signings, radio and TV personalities, flu shots and other special features will take place in the Christmas Corner located in the SE corner of West Pavilion. Toys for Tots The Marine Corp will be celebrating the holiday with us again this year accepting donations for their annual “Toys for Tots” campaign! New unwrapped toys and cash donations will gladly be accepted. Shop the show and drop off a gift for a needy child or family so everyone can have a Merry Christmas!

US servicemen and women stationed around the globe will enjoy a bit of home-grown Hoosier holiday cheer this season thanks to the generosity of the Indiana Christmas Tree Growers Association. Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do to ensure our safety!!! Red Hat Society Day On Thursday, November 12th, we welcome all Red Hat and Pink Hat society members to the show! Your Queen Mother will have information for you regarding your discounted tickets, a chance to get FREE parking, FREE dessert with purchase of a meal at the Christmas Café, FREE gifts to be handed out throughout the day…some include FREE money!!! There are special presentations just for you ladies on your day as well!!! Barto's Holiday Cheers !! Sit back, relax and enjoy some time hanging out at Barto’s Holiday Cheers!! Featuring festive signature drinks such as the Bubbling Poinsettia, Wassail, Hot Spiced Cider and Santa’s Sleigh Smoothie. A full service bar is also available. Tastes of the Holiday While you’re visiting the show, and your stomach begins to growl, we have a lot of great food options!! The Christmas Café features soups, salads and sandwiches…Our Dessert Café will have Hot Apple Dumplings with Ice Cream, Elephant Ears, Sundaes, Floats and Deep Fried Brownie Bites with Ice Cream!! Other traditional State Fair favorites will also be offered…tenderloins, Hoosier ribeye sandwiches, grilled chicken breast sandwiches, corn dogs, bratwurst, pretzels, Buffalo chicken bites, etc, etc., etc….so just know, when you’re hungry…we have you covered!!
